    labsFacilitating From Within
Nate Pfefferkorn and the Mount Hermon Adventure Staff

The art of being a skillful facilitator starts and ends with you. This interactive workshop will help facilitators recognize their own strengths enabling them to make deeper and more meaningful connections with their participants. We will investigate processing and learn how to craft questions intentionally. We will also grow in our understanding of ourselves, our motivations and our personal barriers related to facilitation and leadership. The skills covered will include: facilitation/leadership theory; foundations of experiential learning; communication skills; processing and application of experiential activities. The workshop will be interactive in nature and will require full participation of all attendees. While this workshop is geared toward challenge course facilitators it is equally applicable to anyone who uses creation to teach or to anyone that uses activities to teach.
